The Wall

A wall can make you feel free to walk past them with confidence that they are so strong that they can hold all your secrets and fears. Then you will feel safe. You know that their sturdy build guards your heart, but they can also make you feel like your breath keeps closing because you are constantly suffocated by all that they keep hidden from others and yourself. That the moment it cracks, you no longer want to be amongst them. Do I know that feeling, yes but that is not the part of them I want to discuss.

I am talking about how the wall can be the most romantic spot for your first moment of tension when you feel the wall vibrate on your back. The moment the man of your dreams slams his arms with so much might and determination, it sends the crispiness down your spine to your knees. You wonder for a second if you can stand any longer. The moment your eyes meet that longing seeps into your soul and you are trapped in that love, nothing will come between it. The man becomes that wall that knows all your secrets and fears but still loves you. To me, that is sexy the silence when nothing is happening, within that silence when you gaze into each other’s eyes, you are both ardent in your support for the other.

Think about it in this secular culture, they focus on having sex as being the only thing that creates pleasure, but in my opinion, they are all wrong.  It is the willingness to be sincere in the moment of understanding that you both want nothing but the love that shines within the silence to break free and be that wall for one another.

To me, the wall only means one thing; it is where the love does not need the physical all it is, is the strength in merely just being and loving purely.
